We are now looking for a Technical Manager to supervise our fleet of Mega-yachts. The successful candidate is a Marine Engineer with experience from commercial shipping and the yachting industry.
As our Technical manager you are expected to:
- Uphold contact with Classification societies and plan surveys accordingly
- Uphold contact with Flag administration and plan audits and surveys
- Negotiate contracts for yard visits
- Manage yard visits
- Manage and supervise the vessels Planned Maintenance Systems
- Support crew onboard the vessels in all technical issues
- Uphold contact with key suppliers and contractors
- Negotiate bunker procurement
- Manage the SMS system together with the DPA, and act as deputy DPA
- Together with the DPA ensure that the vessel certificates and crew certificates are up to date
- Manage contacts with authorities in all countries where the vessels are trading
- Develop contacts with potential clients, and keep a close relation with existing clients
- All other services as required from time to time, both from our office in Kungälv and travels domestic and abroad
The Management Company is fully owned by Safe at Sea AB, the manufacturer of the RescueRunner. You will also help support the mother company with technical solutions as necessary.
Preferably you are based in the Gothenburg area but the right candidate will have the possibility to work from his home in Sweden or abroad when not needed at the head office.
