Marine Benchmark is expanding its product portfolio and we are now looking for a sales professional having full responsibility for the sales process for a range of information products.
Marine Benchmark follows a stringent product and customer development process and now has a portfolio of products in the position ready for volume sales ramp up. The portfolio includes sales and market tools for actors within the maritime cluster, as well as performance studies on vessel individual level.

The position is a very hands-on sales role. It is your responsibility to actively manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to prospecting, arranging appointments, preparing presentations and proposals, closing and handing over accounts to production.
We are looking for someone with substantial sales experience within the maritime cluster, IT or industry and a proven track record of the set-up of substantial accounts. That said, the overall most important factor is, the candidate must have the right attitude and being a driven kind of person, be able to engage with decision makers by promoting and demonstrating clear business benefi ts to them. We believe you hold a degree in Business administration or in Science and to be able to demonstrate good articulation skills. General breadth of knowledge and understanding of the shipping industry or experience from sales towards maritime equipment or service suppliers, ship owning companies, yards or ports would be looked upon as advantageous.
You will report directly to the managing director and will be located at our offi ce in Långedrag, Gothenburg. Last day for application is 30 June 2014.
