Operations Engineer

Floatel International is an International Group established in 2006 with management located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Floatel operate a modern fleet of accommodation and construction support vessels (floatels) for the oil and gas industry all over the world. The fleet is designed to meet the increased demands set by new challenging projects in deep water and hostile environments. Floatel International strives to provide superior living standard and support services.

What we look for
We are looking for an Operations Engineer with particular interest to work in an international, challenging and changeable environment providing best possible support to Floatel core business. The position as Operations Engineer is a part of our Operations Section in a fleet wide position meaning that you will work with more than one vessel in operation and participate in fleet wide projects.

Who are you?
Most likely you are newly graduated or have a few years of experience from similar position such as project engineer/administrator. You are a structured and organized team player with a solution-oriented way of working with great ambition to add professional value to our business. You have good communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-moving environment focused on getting things done.

Key responsibilities
Support Rig Managers in daily operation
Support Rig Managers in planning upcoming project
Review and update project procedures
Ensure exchange of experience between operations projects Responsible for reports and fleet letters
Responsible for document control
Responsible for assigned fleet wide projects and business cases

Key requirements
BSc / MSc degree in industrial engineering, nautical, shipping, economics or equivalent Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Experience with processing in Word, Excel, MS Project and Power Point Experience from the marine industry and/or the military is advantageous

Other
Business travels required on regular basis, normally once/twice a month, could be ad-hoc.
