Located in Gothenburg with roots from Donsö Island, OljOla is an established company withing the tanker shipping industry. The company was founded in 1978 and has ever since worked with distribution of bunkers in various forms. We currently operate three vessels and will take technical management of the new oil terminal in Port of Frederikshavn, currently under construction.

We anticipate an existing future and do so with confidence in the continued development of the company. Our ambition is to constantly improve and strengthen our excellence, to deliver bunkers in a safe and environmentally conscious way.

To further strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Marine Superintendent.

We are a slimmed organisation and share daily tasks across the departments. Not only will you be working with safety and quality towards our fleet but throughout the company, including the oil terminal as well as other business areas within our organisation. You will also take large part for the coordination and follow up activities on our sustainability and environmental objectives.

You will work in a dynamic shipping company and you will be part of supporting our fleet very closely. The job is a good combination of both desktop work mixed with practical assignments. It is important that you are flexible and “ready to go”.

Your main area of responsibility will be:

  • Act as Deputy Designated Person Ashore.
  • Member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • To monitor and develop the SMS on board and ashore.

Our crews and officers are a mixture of Swedes, Filipinos and Poles. Needless to say, you must be able to express yourself verbally and in written in English.

We use various IT systems to support our operations and you need to be well familiar with the use of computer software in general.
