Floatel International is an International Group established in 2006 with management located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Floatel operates a modern fleet of accommodation and construction support vessels (floatels) for the oil and gas industry in the world. We are now looking to employ one Maintenance System Engineer to our headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.
As a Maintenance System Engineer, you will be part of our Technical Department, primarily working with our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). You will work closely together with the other members of the department and have daily contact with crewmembers offshore. We are currently in a phase where we are transiting from developing comprehensive maintenance instructions and technical databases to analyzing maintenance data, streamline and improve the support for efficient onboard maintenance planning, reporting, and purchasing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Further develop and optimize our CMMS. We currently use the SIS STAR system but will soon start to implement a new system. You will provide support to crews and other users of the system and perform maintenance analysis and implement improvements in the maintenance databases.
Qualifications:
Experience from CMMS management and support with knowledge of SQL databases is necessary. We prefer if you also have experience from working onboard, preferably as an engineer. We expect you to have an engineering degree or similar.
