Wallenius Water is one of the world’s leading environmental technology companies within the field of chemical-free water purification. Over a decade of advanced research and development has resulted in Wallenius AOT purifiers, which offer natural, chemical-free protection against harmful microorganisms and other water-borne pollutants. The products also enable reductions in water and energy consumption and replace or reduce the use of chemicals.

Junior Product Specialist – PureBallast AlfaWall
PureBallast, developed by Alfa Laval and Wallenius Water, was originally launched in 2006. Since then more that 1000 systems have been sold and around 800 commissioned. PureBallast is now in an expansive phase, looking to expand our highly devoted team with new colleagues.
As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our sales and service organization with product and installation solutions for our Ballast Water Treatment application, PureBallast. The work includes contacts with our global organization on a daily basis. You will be part of our Product Support group, with the objective of improving our offering to our customers. You will be reporting to the Manager Product Support of AlfaWall. Depending on your ambitions and abilities, you will have great opportunity for both professional and personal development.
The main work tasks
- Specialized product & application support for our sales- and service organization
- Support in customer dialogues
- Working with field tests, commissioning and fault finding
- Propose innovative improvements and developments for the PureBallast product range
- Proactively acquire new and existing knowledge of installation of BWT systems and related topics as well as propagating the knowledge through the organization.
You have an engineering degree or marine education and have been working in the marine industry for at least a few years. You have knowledge and experience within the electrical and automation field.The business environment is highly international so you have high skills in English both in speech and in writing. You have an outgoing personality with excellent communication and administration skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
You will join a team of skilled and highly motivated colleagues and work in a challenging, fast moving and developing business. The position is based in Tumba, Sweden, but frequent travelling is required, 50-75 days / year.
