We are looking to employ a HSE Superintendent for a permanent employment to our office in Gothenburg.
Who are you?
You will have a central role in the project group and work in close cooperation with the team and officers onboard. You will work in an international and challenging environment which requires you to understand the shipping and the marine industry.
We are looking for someone who understand the shipping and offshore industry and the health, safety and environmental demands associated with the business.
Important to be familiar with Important to be familiar with ISM Code, ISPS, MLC as well as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
You have the ability to plan and prioritize work in a structured way, even in stressful situations. You are service minded, thorough, quality-conscious and has a ”business mindset”. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
As HSE Superintendent in Floatel you will be the onshore responsible for the HSE support to one or more of the vessels in the fleet. You work in the onshore HSEQ Department and at the same time closely with the crews offshore. We work in an ever-changing environment with high priority to safety. To succeed in this role, you will need to be fast problem solver and push for safety working solutions whenever required of you.
Your day-to-day business will be to plan and follow up the HSE operations for your vessel(s) and ensure compliance with Class, International Regulations and Company Standards and client requirements.
- Engineering (Mechanical/Naval), Nautical Education.
- Five years´ experience within the safety profession or similar and minimum two years’ marine or offshore experience, and one year’s experience in a supervisory position.
- Applicable experience from working with local legislation.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Experience from HSE Audits and Incident Investigations.
- Personal drive and motivation with ability to take initiative.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in teams in a changing environment.
