Wisby Shipmanagement is managing 19 tankers ranging from 5 000 DWT to 50 000 DWT handling all types of dirty and clean products as well as chemicals in World Wide trade. For the right candidate, we offer a challenging opportunity to join our company.

For our head office, situated in Lidköping, Sweden, we are looking for a Technical Superintendent to support the heart of our business. You report to our Technical Director and the successful candidate will be responsible for the technical performance as well as budget and costs for the defined fleet. You will form a team with the Marine Superintendent for the same dedicated fleet. Although the position is situated in Lidköping, traveling will be a part of the job including ship technical inspections and dry-dockings.

Qualifications and personal competence:

You have a degree from a maritime university and have sailed as an engineer. Experiences from similar jobs ashore is an advantage but not necessary. Experience from chemical tankers and 2-stroke propulsion engines is an advantage. In order to succeed in this role, you need to be fluent in verbal and written English. Our crews and officers consist of mainly Philippines but also Swedes. Company language is English.

We use various IT tools to support our operations and you need to be well familiar with the use of computer software in general.
